Photron started as a light emitting diodes (LED) manufacturing company (founding members from the Bank of Korea®, Samsung SDI® and Kodenshi® ) and with over 17 years of experience on LED fabrication and packaging, and is now 4th largest capacity (1st among private-owned LED mfg companies) and the largest IR Emitter/vertical type LED manufacturer in Korea today. For 17 years the company has been focusing on developing on more durable energy efficient LEDs.
